Temple Guide
Useful temple information for a smoother pilgrimage visit.
Khatu, Sikar District, Rajasthan
Shri Khatu Shyam Ji Temple is one of Rajasthan’s most visited pilgrimage sites and is associated with Barbarika, the grandson of Bhima from the Mahabharata. According to tradition, Lord Krishna blessed him to be worshipped as Shyam in Kaliyuga. Devotees lovingly call Baba Shyam “Haare Ka Sahara” and visit the temple to seek strength, hope and blessings. Shyam Kund and the temple market are also located nearby.
Salasar, Churu District, Rajasthan
Shri Salasar Balaji Temple is a renowned shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple is especially known for its distinctive bearded and moustached form of Balaji. Devotees visit Salasar to offer prayers, tie sacred threads and seek courage, protection and fulfilment of their wishes. Tuesdays, Saturdays, Hanuman Jayanti and Sharad Purnima generally attract larger crowds.
Pushkar, Ajmer District, Rajasthan
Jagatpita Brahma Temple is one of Pushkar’s most important religious landmarks and is dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator in the Hindu tradition. Located close to the sacred Pushkar Lake, the temple is recognised for its red spire, marble steps and historic architecture. Visitors commonly combine Brahma Temple darshan with prayers at Pushkar Lake and a walk through the surrounding temple market.

Pilgrimage travel guide
Plan a comfortable 2-day pilgrimage tour from Jaipur to Khatu Shyam Ji, Salasar Balaji and Pushkar by private cab. This route combines three important religious destinations of Rajasthan in one organised journey with Jaipur pickup and drop.
The first day covers Shri Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Balaji darshan. The journey then continues towards Pushkar, where travellers can visit Jagatpita Brahma Temple, the sacred Pushkar Lake and nearby local attractions on the second day.
A private cab offers greater comfort and flexibility than fixed public transport. Travellers can choose a suitable vehicle according to their group size and plan reasonable meal, rest and darshan stops during the journey.
Explore Temple ToursThe tour begins with an early-morning pickup from your home, hotel, railway station or airport in Jaipur. Travel first to Shri Khatu Shyam Ji Temple in Sikar district for darshan and time around the temple area.
After completing Khatu Shyam Ji darshan, continue towards Shri Salasar Balaji Temple in Churu district. Travellers can stop for breakfast or lunch according to the journey schedule and temple crowd conditions.
Darshan waiting time may increase on Ekadashi, Tuesdays, Saturdays, public holidays and major festivals. Starting early helps provide more time for both temples without rushing the journey.
The second day covers Pushkar, one of Rajasthan’s most important pilgrimage towns. Visit Jagatpita Brahma Temple, located close to the sacred Pushkar Lake, and spend time at the ghats according to local customs and temple guidelines.
The tour may also include a walk through Pushkar’s local market and nearby sightseeing points when time permits. After completing the planned visits, begin the return journey to Jaipur and receive drop-off at the confirmed location.
Pushkar becomes especially busy during weekends, Kartik Purnima and the Pushkar Fair. Temple opening hours, local traffic and crowd restrictions may affect the final visiting order.
A private cab makes the Jaipur–Khatu Shyam Ji–Salasar Balaji–Pushkar journey convenient for families, senior citizens and small groups. It removes the need to change buses or arrange separate transport between temples.
The final route, pickup time, vehicle, fare and inclusions are confirmed before booking. Monument or temple-related charges, accommodation, meals, parking, tolls and additional kilometres apply according to the confirmed package details.
